Darkness, I...

Every night I pick a star in the sky
and persistently follow the path
that leads to it.
But soon I realize:
the star that once lit the way
is now dead,
and has been so for eons...

Tonight I shall choose a new direction,
one with no light
and I will navigate on it,
forever,
and witness the birth and death of galaxies
as I go by...
But I won't stop,

am strănutat
de mi-au zburat
și aripile de pe spate

și am căzut din cer, în cap,
iar aura s-a spart bucăţi.

într-un moment de claritate
când mă căutam după batistă
am revenit la realitate
cu visele făcute praf...

dar de-mi vor crește iarăși aripi
și-mi voi lua avânt spre cer,
spre visele ce mi-au rămas,
aș vrea să-ţi cer un singur lucru:
iubito, gâdilă-mă-n nas !

The minimalist structure of this image works really well to convey the image of drowning, the highlights on the lineart are a lovely touch :)

no, bubbles usually get deformed when they rise - especially the large ones. depends also on the speed :)
