The battle between Good and Evil rages since the beginning of time and kills on both sides, but the energies involved in it are beautiful to the eyes of the unbiased Universe.

_

The text is adapted from a quote of John Keats (something I actually found in Dan Simmons' "Hyperion")
I don't remember it exactly, but it was about the energies involved in a street fight. The meaning, however, was close to what I just wrote.

It almost reminds me of Queen's album cover for "News Of The World", albeit the bleeding guy being held in the stone golem's hand has ( -in your image- ) beefed up considerably (probably from weight lifting or out of sheer determination to destroy the golem) and has decided to come back and wreak vengence upon said golem with the HUGE freakin mallet he is carrying in his right hand.

What goes around ... comes around. And the character above is obviously in "Payback" mode.

Queen's cover image for "News Of The World" can be viewed here for comparison's sake:

Yes ... quite classic.

I remember seeing it for the first time when I was around nine or ten years old. Found it made me feel slightly uneasy, yet at the same time, induced a childlike curiosity as to what the image represented.

Hence, the roundabout association with your image.

Maybe I'm projecting myself onto the character with the mallet ... going back to face my initial fears in the wake of having beheld the Queen cover in the first place. Who knows? Sigmund Freud or some other pyschoanalyst would have a field day in attempting to deduce a meaning from it based upon my reactions.

;)
