pe-o luntre sublimă
cădem în derivă
prin lumi plutitoare
în pace deplină
un cer de-alabastru
un soare în flăcări
o poartă spre mare
un munte măiastru
o insulă iese
stâncoasă din mare,
faleze abrupte,
păduri verzi și dese
și totul se vede
din luntrea sublimă
cu ochii nesiguri
de teama de-a crede
reflexii în mare
se uită piezișe
zărim luntrea noastră
trecând drept prin soare

iar soarele plânge
suspină în roșu
și luna-l alintă
și timpul se scurge
și-n noaptea senină
încet se strecoară
prin lumi plutitoare
o luntre sublimă

Stranger in a strange landa cooked meal in winter,
a warm bed at night,
a child, parent, love,
a home with a chimney,
the fields filled with flowers,
a forest in shade
on a hot summer day,
the silence of sunsets...

I look for their meaning
in books full of wisdom,
but sometimes, out here,
they don’t mean a thing

Wow...just...wow. I cannot even begin to explain how beautiful this is. The sun/moon imagery, the whole idea of Notre Dame being a monster...the angel on the front...this is absolutely incredible. One of the most stunning things I've seen in a long time.
