I can't actually see the "creepy" in it
for me it is only beautiful (and I mean it)
I guess sometimes you can override some of the instinctual responses of your body to certain stimuli

This would be a fantastic physical sculpture. I imagine an oil filled glass tube with a hidden driving mechanism at the base, perhaps a magnetic rotor sealed within the "skin". A snake in the process of swallowing its own tail.

I know, it would be nice to see a sculpture... actually I also have a way of building a real snake (not the filled tube version although that is also quite interesting and probably a lot easier to make than what I have in mind)
