my first sculpture, done in high-school
made out of porcelain with impurities (plaster)
it was the plaster that melted and gave the bizarre texture on the surface
it represents the initial creative scream, the coming to life of the artist (my first sculpture was my self-portrait as a child)
the story behind it is quite interesting - I started with the sculpture of a child in a different position, but that one exploded when I put it into the oven to dry out (bad ventilation) and then I created this one which is much more symbolic. even though the first had more details this one is far better in depicting my idea.
I would like to thank ^LabyrinthCreations for submitting this as a DD and everybody who faved the work... sorry if I can't answer everybody - I added some information about the sculpture in the comments
